Ponsel furniture
Real couch potatoes chill with Ponsel
With two comprehensive home design books for the Venturo and Chalet product lines, balleywasl* is taking the next step in the repositioning of the Upper Franconia-based upholstery manufacturer. On some 260 pages, the books offer inspiration, information and direct access to the furniture trade for the interested furniture buyer.
As previously reported, balleywasl* created for the upholstery manufacturer Ponsel, based in Upper Franconia, a new identity which premiered at the Oberfranken house and garden exhibition. With its "Naturally at home" claim, the family-run company emphasises its dedication to protecting the environment as well as sustainability and demonstrates how modern upholstered furniture – Made in Germany – with a "very environmentally-friendly" distinction can set itself apart from cheap Chinese and Eastern imports. The retail trade approves of this drive and has granted the company, in spite of the market's customary reluctance towards branded advertising, the freedom to stage POS activities.
This new identity has now been systematically translated to additional communication modules. The two home design books for the Venturo and Chalet product lines have been fundamentally revised and their new look convinces with a plus in emotion, a crisp yet entertaining layout and an easy-to-use information architecture. balleywasl* restaged the products using partly old, partly new studio shots as well as an accompanying editorial concept; its modern magalogue layout sets a further milestone in Ponsel's communication approach. The agency's competency in the field of Corporate Publishing and interdisciplinary thinking proved highly advantageous.
